Busan Korea Travel And Food Guide

Haeundae Amsogalbi-jip

I recommend going all out and order ordering as many marinated ribs as your heart desires. The beef literally melts in your mouth and it’s so delicious. I’m very impressed with the tenderness and well marinated flavor of the beef. Potato noodles was really good too. This is one of the best meals I had in Busan.

해물포장마차촌(연화리)

Abundance of fresh seafood with hardworking Haenyeo ladies ready to serve you. There are lots of stalls to choose from offering similar menus. The seafood is freshly prepared right infront of you.

First dish was fresh sashimi with various clams, abalone and squids. Then we have hot plate abalone which was really fresh and good. We ended our meal with a hearty abalone porridge. It was an enjoyable experience having this meal right next to the sea in a very casual setting.

After purchasing your seafood, the owners will help to take them upstairs and cook for you. Botan shrimps are one of the special prawns you should try in Busan too!

The king crab was the single best thing I’ve had there. The food here is absolutely outstanding and great value for money. Everything was incredibly fresh, straight from the ocean, and you can tell the quality is top-notch.

My trip has coincided with Buddha’s birthday, so a lantern festival is held in its honor. The entire temple is illuminated with lanterns and light sculptures.
