Top Places For Hokkien Mee (Prawn Noodles) In Penang
Kedai Kopi Bobo
This hawker stall is famous for its prawn noodles and curry noodles. One of my favorite prawn noodles in Penang! This coffee shop is an open space in the middle of building with not shadings. I really like how they serve their drinks in the tins though which can keep the drinks cold for a longer period.

888 Hokkien Mee
One of the best prawn Mee (Hokkien mee) I’ve ever tasted. The broth was really flavourful and light. Optional add-ons include roasted pork, pork balls, egg and so forth. The broth of loh mee is very thick and flavourful as well.

Green House Prawn Mee Corner
One of the famous Hokkien Mee in Penang. The broth was on the sweeter side so it’s up to personal preference. I recommend mixing with loh as the soup base will be thicker and more flavorful.

Granny’s Hokkien Mee
The broth is creamy and flavorful. I love how they use braised soy sauce eggs instead of typical hard boiled eggs.

Taman Kekwa Hokkien Mee
One of the hidden gem in Penang which is tucked in a housing area. Their Hokkien Mee soup is rich in flavor which is also quite spicy for me even without adding the sambal.
